30 HOUR FAMINE

Did you know that nearly 16,000 children under the age of 5 die every single day from preventable causes? Nearly half of those deaths are tied to hunger. Because we're not content to sit idly by, our students will participate in World Vision's 30 Hour Famine to fight worldwide hunger. Students will go 30 hours without food in order to raise money to fight hunger. Through World Vision, $40 is enough to feed and care for one child for one month. During Famine Weekend, students will learn about global hunger and what Scripture teaches about responding to those in poverty, participate in community projects, and have lots of fun. If you'd like to help us in the fight against world hunger, you can make an online donation here. https://youth.worldvision.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donordrive.team&teamID=19998
